Nattra

Nattra’s album release party was a hit! See a clip of one of his songs on Youtube.

Shirin and Sydney started working together when they met in Spring 2019 in Scotland. It was a very natural and easy first meeting: they met at the Edinburgh Iranian Festival at a volunteer appreciation event, and met up for tea soon after to discuss an interesting proposition. Shirin was looking for a manager to help her bring her show to the UK, and Sydney was looking for an opportunity to work with an artist in the festival city called Edinburgh! So, they decided to put their show into the Edinburgh Fringe, and that’s what happened. Here’s a sweet video of them speaking to their collaboration, which continues on today even from afar. Shirin Majd

Encountering Nattra was serendipitous: Sydney connected with a new friend during the online Indie Week Conference, who happened to have another acquaintance performing at Gusapolooza. As fate would have it, Sydney discovered a deep appreciation for the music of an artist, only to realize that it was Nattra, the friend of a friend. Since their chance meeting in late 2021, Sydney and Nattra have collaborated extensively. They've released an EP, secured performances at open mics and events in Toronto, and graced the stages of renowned festivals such as Canadian Music Week and North By North East. Nattra's debut album, "Late Nights and Love," was celebrated with a grand album party in his hometown of Newmarket, ON. Anticipating his continued artistic growth, the next milestone is the Wintersong Music Festival on Friday, January 19th! For more details, check out the events section.

TONG

TONG and Sydney began working together on his first album release, “ON”. They were connected by a friend who lived in Germany where they mentioned that TONG was looking for support for his album release. They connected over a video call, got to know each other, and proposed to work on a 6-month long album release plan. Using the 21-day single release method, TONG and the Porchfront team collaborated together on tailoring each single as its own campaign. With the album fully released since May 2021, we produced an online concert right from his home and music studio. Watch the video below!
